Du 14 au 18 mai 2023, notre lycée a vibré au son des chorales de Ho Chi Minh, Kuala Lumpur, Singapour et Jakarta réunies à l’occasion du PROZAP des CHORASIES 2023! Pendant 4 jours, les 110 choristes se sont mélangés lors d’ateliers vocaux et de répétitions animés par les professeurs de musique des 4 lycées : Stéphane Incardona du LFMD de Ho Chi Minh, Michelle Kwang du LFKL de Kulala Lumpur, Julie Demange-Wodtke de l’IFS de Singapour et notre Gabriel Laufer du Lycée Français de Jakarta, coordinateur du projet.
Ils ont pu aussi s’immerger dans la merveilleuse culture indonésienne lors d’une mémorable sortie à Taman Mini Indonesia Indah où ils se sont familiarisé avec le gamelan, les marionnettes d’ombres javanaises wayang kulit, la danse Gambyong et le sublime chant javanais des sinden! Le tout se clôturant par un formidable concert où chaque chorale a pu montrer ses qualités avec un chant en français et l’autre dans la langue de leur pays d’accueil. Le bouquet final rassembleur et colossal a réuni les 4 chorales le mercredi 17 mai 2023 à 18h30 avec un canon général « Mange! », la chanson « Il changeait la vie » de Jean-Jacques Goldman et le frénétique chant papou « Apuse » avec une ronde joyeuse et énergique encerclant le public venu nombreux et parmi lesquels étaient présent Mr Laurent Le Godec, premier conseiller de l’Ambassade de France en Indonésie, Mr Cario chef de secteur de la zone Asie-Pacifique de l’AEFE, Mme Agnes Dovert épouse de Mr Stéphane Dovert de l’Institut Français ainsi que Mr Brahim Oualli et Mr Frédéric Tavernier.

From May 14 to 18, 2023, our high school vibrated to the sound of choirs from Ho Chi Minh, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta gathered for the PROZAP CHORASIES 2023! For 4 days, the 110 singers mixed together during vocal workshops and rehearsals led by music teachers from the 4 French Middle/High Schools of the zone: Stéphane Incardona from the LFMD in Ho Chi Minh, Michelle Kwang from the LFKL in Kuala Lumpur, Julie Demange-Wodtke from the IFS of Singapore and our Gabriel Laufer of the French School of Jakarta, coordinator of the project.
They were also able to immerse themselves in the wonderful Indonesian culture during a memorable outing at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah where they learned about gamelan, the Javanese shadow puppets wayang kulit, Gambyong dance and the sublime Javanese singing of the sinden! The whole event ended with a great concert where each choir was able to show its qualities with a song in French and the other in the language of their host country. The unifying and colossal final bouquet brought together the 4 choirs on Wednesday May 17, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. with a general cannon « Mange! », the song « Il changeait la vie » by Jean-Jacques Goldman and the frenetic Papuan song « Apuse » with a joyful and energetic circle surrounding an enthusiastic audience who came in large numbers and among whom were present Mr Laurent Le Godec, first counselor of the French Embassy in Indonesia, Mr Cario, sector manager of the Asia-Pacific zone of the AEFE, Mrs Agnes Dovert wife of Mr Stéphane Dovert of the French Institute as well as MR Brahim Oualli and MR Frédéric Tavernier.
