Dewan Gubernur terdiri dari total empat belas anggota termasuk: – 7 anggota dengan hak suara yang sesuai dengan orang tua yang terpilih menjadi anggota Biro Asosiasi – 7 anggota dengan suara konsultatif: Konselor Kerjasama dan Aksi Budaya di Indonesia, Konsul Prancis di Jakarta, Kepala Sekolah dan Direktur sekolah dasar (keduanya ditunjuk oleh AEFE), dua perwakilan staf dari LFJ, dan seorang tamu kehormatan dari Indonesia. Direktur Administrasi dan Keuangan diundang ke Dewan Gubernur yang juga dapat memanggil para ahli, tergantung pada agendanya. Dewan Gubernur memiliki fungsi-fungsi permanen sebagai berikut: – menyiapkan, mempresentasikan dan telah diadopsi oleh Majelis Umum anggaran Lycée Français dan mengelola anggaran tersebut sesuai dengan yang telah diadopsi – untuk memastikan perekrutan dan stabilitas tim pengajar yang kompeten yang disesuaikan dengan tujuan Lycée Français – untuk memastikan penerapan dan penghormatan terhadap anggaran dasar, peraturan internal dan peraturan keselamatan khusus – memastikan keberlanjutan bangunan sekolah, pemeliharaannya, kemungkinan penggantian serta peralatannya Dewan Gubernur bekerja sama dengan Dewan Pendidikan Sekolah, yang merumuskan proposal pendidikan apa pun yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengajaran dan kehidupan sehari-hari di Sekolah LIFE. Dewan Gubernur juga dapat membentuk komisi atau kelompok studi khusus lainnya untuk membantu dalam memecahkan masalah-masalah khusus yang tidak berhubungan dengan pendidikan.

Composed of the leadership team, staff representatives, parents’ representatives, elected students, a representative of elected parents, the Embassy’s Cultural Advisor, the Consul and two consular advisers, it is chaired by the Head of the school and meets at least once a quarter. It is responsible for all academic and educational matters of the school.

 

The School Education Board adopts

• the school project, following a proposal from the School Governing Board and the Secondary School Board
• the internal regulations of the school after consultation with the preparatory bodies (School Governing Board and Secondary School Board)
• the school year calendar
• the proposal for the employment of expatriate and resident staff

 

The School Education Board issues an opinion on

• proposals for changes in educational structures and class composition
• educational action projects
• activities program of associations and clubs operating within the school
• questions relating to the welcoming and information of parents, the general modalities of their participation in the school life
• planning and financing of school trips
• the organization of the Vie Scolaire office
• questions relating to hygiene, health and safety and the work to be carried out in these areas
• the integration and care of disabled students
• catering and school transport
• service delegations or procurement
• the budgetary needs of the school and the use of the resources allocated during the presentation of the school’s budget
• the training action plan, following the proposal of the life-long training committee

  • the selection of educational textbooks and materials
  • organization of special support services
  • organisation of parent-teacher meetings, especially those taking place at the beginning of the school year and orientation

Middle and High School Student Board role

The CVCL is composed of middle and high school students elected for the school year. It meets several times a year and works on a specific agenda to formulate opinions and proposals.

It is consulted on questions relating to the general principles of the organization of school time, the development of the school project and internal regulations, catering issues, the general arrangements for the organization of personal work, of personalized support, of support systems, orientation information, the development of dedicated spaces for high school students, health, hygiene, organization of sports, cultural and extracurricular activities.

The President of the CVCL sits on the School Education Board.

The MDL is an association created and managed by high school students for high school students. It aims to energize the school life by placing the students in project-oriented approaches.

Once a quarter, it brings together student representatives from all secondary classes (middle and high school) around the Principal and the education advisor.
