CE1 International Section students have been studying Ronald Reagan. He was the 40th U.S. president during the 1980’s. Citizens called him the “Great Communicator” because of his talent for public speaking. Reagan was most remembered for his influence in ending the Cold War (the rollback of communism in Eastern Europe). Besides his political career, we explored his early life. Before going into politics, he was an actor beginning his career in 1937. For their final project, students wrote acrostic poetry using the name “Ronald Reagan”.
