The students in 4e were offered a competition. The idea being a speed race by remote controlling an mBot robot equipped with an Arduino-type programmable electronic card. The card can be programmed through an upload from a computer. The mBot robot interacts with its environment depending on the program that has been implanted in it. In order to do that, it is able to collect information thanks to its sensors and to carry out actions thanks to its actuators. The students were instructed to optimize and program the reactions of the robot according to the remote control buttons: optimization of speed in a straight line, programming of several types of turns (on the spot, short turn, long turn).
