La semaine dernière, les élèves du CP se sont régalés lorsque leur maitresse d’anglais les a emmenés personnellement rencontrer Lia, l’aigle américain qu’ils ont étudié en cours! Après deux mois passés en classe à étudier cette créature majestueuse, les enfants avaient organisé une collecte de fonds pour aider à financer ses soins dans son refuge pour oiseaux. Miss Kendra est allée s’assurer que Lia était en bonne santé et qu’on prenait bien soin d’elle !
The 1st grade students of the Lycée Français de Jakarta were in for a treat last week when their English teacher made a personal well visit to Lia, the bald eagle! After two months spent in class studying this majestic creature, the children donated all of the money earned from their fundraiser to help fund Lia’s care in a wildlife center. Miss Kendra made sure that Lia was being taken care of and happy and healthy!
