Since the beginning of the school year CM1 students who are part of the Section Internationale have been learning enthusiastically about the culture and history of the Native Americans. CM1 students rose up to the challenge when they were asked to present their learnings over Moodle this week. Students chose and adopted creative ways to present their findings online. For example, one student opted to retell the history of the Native Americans using illustrations while some used storytelling and handmade models as a way to present their findings. In total fourteen students presented their work harnessing their creative skills that led them to try something new and allowed them to work independently. The shift to remote learning has evidently altered the delivery but certainly hasn’t dampened the learnings and the enthusiasm of CM1 students!
