21 adults and 8 Terminale students have just finished their first aid training at the Lycée Français of Jakarta! With their PSC1 certification (Prevention and Civic Rescue level 1) in hand, they become the first links in the rescue chain. They learned to act (protect, alert, rescue) in the presence of a victim in many situations (trauma, burn, bleeding, loss of consciousness, wound, airway obstruction, faintness, heart attack, etc.). These groups were the first in the AEFE network to experiment with hybrid training (6h online and 4h face-to-face), allowing then to learn in complete health safety and in compliance with the imposed instructions (local and DGSCGC). The Seconde students will also do this training in the coming days.
