Up to what temperature can water heat? The students of the CE2B class went to the science lab on Wednesday morning to carry out some experiments like real chemists! After visiting the premices, they performed their own experiments using a hot plate and a thermometer. They let the water boil for 40 minutes and observed that after 25 minutes the water, having reached 98 degrees, no longer heats up. Also, they noticed that the water level decreases, this is called water evaporation: liquid water turns into gas and evaporates while heating.
